II. Physical Collage Designs
I cut out some of of the pages from a magazine I managed to get on an outing and picked out the pages that I thought would be able to be good for physical collaging. I was very limited with the choices for the collage due to the magazine I picked out being a modeling magazine. However, I did what I could with what I did.
Composition 1
Since I was new with collaging, I decided to start with making the collage as interesting as possible to the eye. I tried my best to stick to some of the principles I learned in classes and some inspirations from other collages in Pinterest.|

I was constantly reshuffling the pieces for the physical collage since in my mind, the piece looked good with what I put. However, I noticed that most of the colors were quite muted and might not seem interesting to the eye. I decided to add some red to guide the viewer's eye to the focus of the piece and some words to make the composition feel less empty.
Composition 2

For the second composition, I tried to go with something simpler but still give enough of a feeling of a good collage. I decided to stamp multiple other objects onto the photo in order to give more depth to it. I decided to piece together multiple other background photos from the magazine in order to fill in the space that the piece still had. I tried my best to uphold the rules of thirds while doing this collage.
Composition 3
This composition was made on a complete coincidence. I placed the pieces I wanted to try using for the third composition and ended up placing the composition in a way that I found very pleasing to the eye. I ended up pasting it together and added a few more elements to make it feel more full. I ended up making my personal favorite collage with it.
III. Digital Collage Designs
Composition 1
This was my first composition within Photoshop so I wanted to try out something simpler. I used the rule of Thirds in order to help me navigate on how to make this collage. I wanted to go for a somewhat fantastical collage where the fish would be swimming in the air. I thought that I would want to add some people in order to make the peace more full rather than empty.
It was really hard to like this collage at first, but I did what I could and ended up with a piece that I was somewhat satisfied with.
Composition 2
For this composition, I wanted to go for a symmetrical feel for it. I first put the main element in the middle of the canvas and added some other elements to surround it to center it more. However, my tutor said that everything was too symmetrical and that I should make some difference in order for it to look more dynamic. I ended up adding some other elements to make it seem more skewed. I then added a few more elements to make it look interesting.
Composition 3
This composition was more of a experimental collage where I tried to make the piece look complete even with what little it has. I decided to follow the Golden Ratio rule for this piece. I put the fish element within the circle of the Golden Ratio.
